Oh my gosh, the last picture. That's hysterical. Why is that only allowed on a person's first birthday? Why, if I wanted to, could I not smash cake all over my face on my 27th (gulp) birthday and not get strange looks and weird comments? Only when you're one. Life's not fair.

i've learned to accept that Bethany smashing cake all over her face is not unusual at all. go for it girl!
