Counting down the hours...

Hola! We are down to only a matter of hours before THANKSGIVING!! Yay! I can't wait! We already have our morning planned out... I'm really trying to be intentional and not letting these special moments pass us by. We're going to wake up early and Tim's going to head to Meijer to get a newspaper for the "Black Friday" ads. When he leaves I'll start making homemade Maple Pecan Sticky Buns, a new Thanksgiving tradition around here. Then we'll meet up in front of the TV to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade together, while reading the ads and eating our sticky buns. After that we'll get ready and head to my parents house and spend all day with family and food, yum! I have a lot to do around here and I really should get to work but I'd rather blog. We had a crazy busy weekend around here last weekend... went to Ikea, celebrated Adams 21st birthday and got our Christmas decorations out.

Tim was kind enough to let me take our decorations out of storage, but that's all he'd let me do. Carrie and I talked him into it. We couldn't possibly go to Ikea without going through everything we have first, you know... to make sure we don't double buy. ;) I thought for sure he'd let me start putting decorations up, maybe even the tree... no way! Not Tim, he doesn't let me bulldawg him. Ugh. It's for the best. It will make it much more special when we spend all day working on the entire apartment. Saturday's the day!!
Here's Jamey's footprint in Carries hands, he left it on our living room floor. What a nice guy. Here it all sits until Saturday. The suspense is killing me!!! On our way to Ikea we decided to stop by the Winslow's house from Family Matters. It was a little crazy trying to find it but we made it. Here's a picture Tim took of what it looks like today.
IKEA!! Here are the twins waiting for us to get out of the bathroom. What cuties.

I remember this same shot from a few years ago...

ahh, life.

Well, I should get something done around here. Have a great Thanksgiving!!

Love you all!!

Uncle Tim and Aunt Kim

This past Sunday Tim and I drove down to Indianapolis to visit our NEPHEW!! Isn't he a cutie?!?! I held him for a loooong time and Tim held him for about 5 minutes. Don't worry, Tim did not leave with an urge to have a baby anytime soon. :) The highlight of our visit: I was trying to wake Jeremy up so I could see his eyes [every time I visit he's sleeping] and Amy didn't want him sleeping all day so he'd sleep some at night. I moved him around a little and took off his blanket. I placed him on my lap and he let out the biggest fart I've ever heard. I was very nervous to check and make sure nothing leaked out. It didn't. Whatever business he had he kept to himself and didn't share with his aunt Kim. Here are some pictures from our visit...

Jeremy Owen Lubsen

Meet our new nephew, Jeremy Owen Lubsen born on November 7, 2008 at 7:04 a.m. He weighed 8 lbs and was 22 inches long [I think, I wasn't really listening ;) ]He looks like a little baby doll! My parents, bubba and I drove down to Indianapolis on Friday to visit my sister, Graig and THEIR SON!! Hopefully we'll have some more visits down there soon. Tim wasn't able to go, there's our excuse for another visit! Here are some of the highlights...
Grandma Gustafson
[that sounds weird]Here's how bubba spent most of his time...Trying to have my picture take with Jeremy but the grandparents are hogging him...After 32 hours of labor, she's having her cake and eating it too.
