Remember this? Well, I'm either super lazy or super busy. Even though my baby will be six months old next week [YIKES!!] I still do not feel like her nursery is complete. Oh well, such is life! :) So several months later here are some of the after pictures... I hope to take some better shots before we move or before she turns 16.
I have become super lazy... this picture below is so not me... and I love it!
A few things to note... these were taken on a cloudy day so the
lighting keeps changing with the clouds. Yes, there is a baby in there
who should have been sleeping, but wasn't. No we still don't have a
proper hamper for her. I just throw her dirty clothes on the floor,
behind her clock. It works for me. The swing and car seat don't
"belong" there but were thrown in b/c we had people over the night
before. There's only so much room in our place. The shelf is filled
with Kiersten's Christmas presents. We went practical this year and bought asked
Santa for things that she'll need through out her first year since her
birthday isn't until October. Yes, I had her Christmas dress out of her
closet on "display" for weeks or months. I may or may not have loved
to stare at it while I rocked her... so beautiful and LITTLE. The
flowers on her book shelf are from her diaper cake from aunt Amy that
was gone in a blink of an eye. I started to paint some Ikea mirrors for her wall, but still haven't finished them yet. That's what I was painting in my first post and is missing from the second. I may have kind of forgotten about them. My boss's wife, Kim Stewart, made the
butterfly on her wall. These were taken in January, so Kiersten is just
over 3 months old and looks so little to me... ahhhhhh they grow so
fast.
