When Two Become Three

ha ha ha... I got that line from Hans.
No, we're not expecting a little one.
Did you think I'd announce that here before telling you in real life?? :)

Our home has grown though.

We now have miss carrie living with us.

We've really learned how to maximized the 1100 square feet we've been blessed with.
I now live with several guitars and a half stack in my bedroom.
It definitely looks like Ikea ralphed all over our apartment.

I am loving it.

This is what greets me every morning...

real pictures to come soon.

Nashville

A few weeks ago Tim and I were able to go down to Nashville and visit Mark, Lauren & Owen. We were there for almost a week and had a blast. I've tried to upload pictures from our computer for a few days now. I don't know what the deal is, but they are in the most random order and Blogger will not let me edit them. I am not very happy with Blogger right now.

Anyway... we stopped by Financial Peace Plaza Thursday afternoon while M&L were working. Dave wasn't there :( but we ended up having an AMAZING time hanging out with people that work there. We were probably there just over an hour and had the best homemade cookies and coffee ever! Thank you Martha!!

Tim had a lot of quality time with the O-ster.

Saturday night M&L had a Labor Day cookout... very yummy.
[the mosiqitos in Nashville are killer. I still have bites.]

It was really nice to see Andrew down in Nashville.
One week later we were sitting in church, here in Granger, and all of the sudden Tim was like, "I think that's Andrew over there!"
Sure enough it was.
Random.
Downtown from the Walking Bridge. Amazing.
More from the Walking Bridge...

I think this was our first night there... not too sure.

The jumperoo from "Aunt Sandy(?!)"
Outside of Financial Peace Plaza. I'm telling you, random order.

Now we're back home.... life is as CRAZY as ever!

Babys make me sound silly!!

While we were in Nashville I took some videos of Owen... which are a little out of order here on our blog. I sound like a real creep-o in these. Hold on tight and focus on the cutie and not the creepy lady! Oh, yes, I will be adding pictures and words about our trip later... these videos took a lot longer to load than I thought they would, so I'm going to go to bed and finish up tomorrow. Oh, the suspense of being a blog reader!

The first video is of all of us driving around town... I think we were headed to Friday Night Pizza Night at Mellow Mushroom. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. pizza.

Here's uncle Tim playing with Owen. Owen ralphed 3 or 4 times but smiled all the way through it. He loves his uncle Tim... I hope.
:)

After Pizza we headed to the walking bridge downtown. It was beautiful and the weather couldn't have been any better. We had been there for quite a while and Lauren, Owen and I were ready to go home. Tim and Mark weren't. Enjoy....

I'm baaaaaaack!!!!

Hello, hello! We're back from the great state of Tennessee. I have great stories and pictures to post... but that will have to wait. We have an emergency... Pro Tools is not working so Tim-a-Tay has taken over our computer = I don't have access to my pics and hate typing for too long on the laptop. Give it a day or two and we will be up and running.

I do have a short and beautiful story. I am a runner [as of last week]. I've ran 5 times in the last week and a half; six of those days we we're in Nashville where I did not exercise one bit and ate like a king. Tonight, after Bible study, I decided I better hit the pavement before I hit the couch. So I took off with Tim's Ipod. I don't last very long out there at all. Anyway, I doubt you know where we live, but we live in the back of our complex in a "woodsy" [is that a word?] area. Our apartment and the apartments back here were built in the last year so we see a lot of wild life running around... like "hey! we were here first!!" So tonight, like last night, I came around one building and hit a stretch of just trees and a small lake and there was a small deer walking around checking things out. The sun was setting, the fog was closing in, it was so beautiful!! Plus I had Hillsong London playing Your Name High... and it all happened during the first 30 seconds of the song. Listen here and picture it - it was amazing!! I think God knew how much I dislike running so he blessed me with that moment. God is good.

[hopefully I painted a beautiful picture and you're not like, big deal kimbo... I am a tired girl]

It's the second most wonderful time of the year!!

Starbucks emailed me this morning. That's right. I love the fall. I love coffee. It's the same thing every year... read here... 2007 and here... 2008

Now who would like to go on a coffee date when I get back?? Anyone??

nashville or bust

Well folks... we're off to Nashville [tomorrow morning] to spend some time with Mark & Lauren. We're supposed to be on our way to Indianapolis to spend the night with Amy, Graig and Mr. Trouble, but we're not. I woke up early Sunday morning with a fever, very sore throat and my ears were killing me. I've felt like that for the the past three days now. I'm feeling a little better now [just drugged to get through the packing]. Hopefully I'll wake up tomorrow morning and feel 100%. These are Tim's only days off this year so I can't be sick!! Ugh.

Here's a picture from our first trip to Nashville... almost two years ago to the day!
Ok, now I want to grow my hair out.
[the grass is always greener]
peace.
